NYSSCPA Members in the News

Four NYSSCPA members were recently interviewed for articles published online and in print:

Ellen Minkow and Fred Slater, both members of the NYSSCPA's Relations with the IRS Committee, were both quoted in am Aug. 13 MarketWatch article about refund anticipation loans (RALs), where they advocated educating consumers about proper withholding and timely filing as a means to avoid using RALs.

Martin C. Lougen and Keith R. Bookbinder, both members of the Buffalo Chapter, were featured in an article in Buffalo's Business First that gave advice on selecting a CPA firm (which also noted the NYSSCPA as a resource).
