Professional Credentialing

This presentation will explore the issues of whether or not CPA's need to obtain a further professional credential beyond the CPA designation. The issue of whether CPA's need an XYZ or IISBP designation has been extensively debated by CPA's during the last year. CPA's voted on the IISBP designation promoted by the AICPA last year. But the issue still is not resolved. Is the CPA designation a worn-out symbol with no value? Do CPA's need to be a CLU, PFP, CIC, CITP, MSCE, CISA, or other designation in order to compete. Did you know there are over 200 professional certifications available? Do the buyers of professional services value any of these? This timely informative presentation will address these issues.
