FAE Registration Rules

Payment and Cancellation Guidelines for Seminars & Conferences

Please note the following registration policies.

Refunds: No refund will be given for cancellations received less than 2 weeks prior to the program date. A $50 processing fee will be charged for cancellations received more than 2 weeks prior to the program date. ALL REQUESTS MUST BE SUBMITTED IN WRITING BY FAX OR REGULAR MAIL OR EMAIL.

Transfers: FAE allows a registrant to transfer to another program or substitute another person without a penalty more than 2 weeks prior to the program date. Transfers and substitutions requested less than 2 weeks will be charged a $25 processing fee.

Late Registrants: All persons registering for a FAE Paperless Event after 2pm the day before the event are considered a late registrant. In order to provide the best service possible, a link to the program materials will be provided to you within five days after the program. Upon receipt of the link, please ensure that you download and save the course materials immediately. The link will not be made available after your initial download/viewing. This link will expire after 14 days after it is sent to you.   Materials will NOT be provided on-site.

Walk-ins: All individuals who register on the day of the program will be charged an additional $25 fee. As Walk-Ins, if the event is a FAE Paperless Event, please be advised that you will be emailed a link to the materials within five days after the program. Upon receipt of the link, please ensure that you download and save the course materials immediately. The link will not be made available after your initial download/viewing. This link will expire after 14 days after it is sent to you. Materials will NOT be provided on-site.

Sponsored Registration: As a courtesy, any member in good standing may sponsor any person on their own staff or company at the member rate of a seminar or conference. This person must not otherwise be eligible for NYSSCPA membership.  Just indicate on the registration form, the name and membership ID of your sponsor. If you have any questions about membership, you may call Member Services at (800)-537-3635. Offer limited to one person per event.

Paperless Initiative: FAE registrants will now be able to access all FAE-developed conference and seminar materials online. This means you will no longer receive paper materials when you arrive at a FAE conference or a FAE, AICPA, K2, Surgent McCoy or Nichols Patrick CPE seminar. Registrants will be e-mailed a link to access the program materials within five days of the program date. You must download and save the PDF file to your computer. You may print all or portions of it at your discretion. In order to receive course materials prior to an event, we must have your current e-mail information on file. Please call customer service at 800-537-3635 or visit your member profile to update this information.
