Industry Happenings

• On Jan. 31, Kenneth K. Lehn, Esq., JD, of Winne, Banta, Rizzi, Hetherington & Basralian, P.C., will make a presentation at the New York State Society of CPAs’ CFO Committee meeting on business divorce—oppression of minority shareholders. Anthony Greene, CRM, CIC, from Herbert L. Jamison Co. LLC, is scheduled to present at the Feb. 28 CFO Committee meeting on the current state of the insurance market. Society members will receive continuing professional education credit for attending these presentations.
• The Apparel & Textile Committee’s Breakfast Conference Series hosted its second conference on factoring and financing issues on Jan. 22 at the Yale Club in midtown Manhattan.
• The Industry Committee of the Society’s Westchester Chapter will host a breakfast meeting on human resources on Feb. 7. Important human resources issues relevant to members in industry will be discussed.
