NEW YORK - (June 16, 2015) – Edward Arcara, president of his Buffalo-based firm, Edward L. Arcara, CPA PC, has been elected a director-at-large by The New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants. His three-year term began June 1.
Arcara is currently a member of the Audit Committee as well as the Buffalo Chapter Accounting and Auditing Committee.
He is a past Buffalo Chapter president, vice president, secretary, and treasurer as well as a past member of the Continuity of Practice, Member Benefits, and Small Firms Practice Management committees.
Arcara received his BS in accounting from Canisius College. He joined the Society in 1986 and resides in Getzville.
