NEW YORK – (December 6, 2019) – Lilly Ledbetter, activist and plaintiff in the Supreme Court discrimination case against Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co. that led to the Lilly Ledbetter Fair Pay Act, will discuss transforming workplace culture during the New York State Society of CPAs (NYSSCPA) Women’s Leadership Forum on Jan. 18, 2019. The forum will be held at Midtown Loft & Terrace, 267 Fifth Ave., in New York City, from 8:30 a.m.–5:15 p.m.
NYSSCPA President Jan C. Herringer, CPA, a BDO USA partner and member of the Society’s Diversity and Inclusion Committee, will share opening remarks, followed by a keynote address from Michele C. Meyer-Shipp, Esq., the chief diversity officer at KPMG LLP, who will share her thoughts on the state of women in the accounting profession.
