NEW YORK – (September 25, 2012) – The president of the New York State Restaurant Association will address the city’s recent soda drink ban, menu nutrition labeling, letter grade proposals, healthcare reform and other current industry issues during an October 4th hospitality conference in Manhattan.
Rick J. Sampson - head of the 10,000-member association that represents franchise and independent restaurants, foodservice providers and caterers – will be the keynote speaker at the Restaurant & Hospitality Breakfast Conference sponsored by Foundation for Accounting Education (FAE).
The conference – to be held at the FAE Conference Center at 3 Park Avenue, 19th floor - is being marketed to CPAs, managers and administrators who serve hospitality-industry owners and employers.
The half-day confab, which promises to provide “more than just food for thought”, aims to broaden the understanding of several current issues restaurateurs are facing.
