John works with middle-market and large-market for-profit and nonprofit organizations, their leadership and their investment committees, delivering proactive advice and customized investment strategies to meet the increasingly complex needs of institutions and the leaders who run them. John has over 22 years experience consulting and advising with these entities on issues pertaining to Investment Policy, Philanthropic Planning, Investment Menu creation, Risk Budgeting, and the role of Alternatives and Private Equity in a diversified portfolio. John has developed a niche practice in the Sports & Entertainment arena, as well as consulting institutions on operating reserves, endowments, pensions and retirement benefit plans and private foundations. John currently holds the CIMA - Certified Investment Management Analyst ®, designation from IMCA and the Wharton School of Business, the CFP ® - Certified Financial Planner designation from CFP Board of Standards, and the Chartered Advisor In Philanthropy - CAP ® designation from the American College. John is also studying for his Chartered Advisor in Alternative Investments (CAIA). John received his MBA from Columbia University and a Bachelors in Pre-Law from the State University of NY at Albany. He currently lives in Manalapan, NJ with his wife, Jane, and two children, Emma and John, and his dogs, Cooper and Callie.
