Rich Jones is an Associate Professor at Hofstra University, Chair of the NYCPA Accounting and Auditing Oversight Committee, an active participant in several other NYCPA committees and advisory boards, and a member of FinREC, which is a senior committee of the AICPA for financial reporting.
The speaker will detail the financial accounting and reporting requirements of the recently issued FASB guidelines related to entities entering into environmental credit programs, including accounting for the acquisition of environment credits and recording the associated environmental credit obligations.
