Anyone arriving late or leaving early will have their CPE credits adjusted accordingly. CPE credit is granted at a rate of one credit hour for every 50 minutes of in-class participation.
No-Show Policy
A registrant who does not attend a program is considered a no-show and forfeits their payment. To avoid being a no-show, please follow the cancellation/transfer/substitution guidelines before the program date.
Late Registrant Policy
All persons registering for a FAE paperless program after 7:00 a.m. the day before the program are considered a late registrant. Materials for your course can be found at cpe.nysscpa.org/current-registrations, and a link is included in your registration receipt. No other notices will be sent regarding course materials.
Walk-in Policy
Individuals may register on the day of the seminar or conference at no additional fee, subject to seat availability.
Please note: As a walk-in, program materials will not be provided on-site. You will be able to access materials once your order is entered in the system. A link to access the materials will be included in your registration receipt.
Live Webcast CPE Policy
Each FAE webcast registrant must verify their attendance by answering at least 75% of the attendance checks throughout the program. The registrant must view the live webcast for at least 50 minutes per credit hour.
We are prohibited from awarding CPE credits to those participants who do not satisfy the attendance and participation requirements set forth for all Live Webcast Events as outlined above.
NASBA Guidelines
As a member of the National Registry of CPE Sponsors, webcasts must adhere to National Association of State Boards of Accountancy (NASBA) guidelines. We use online participation time and poll responses to prove that each participant has actively participated for the duration of a webcast.
Due to these strict regulatory guidelines, we are unable to grant CPE credit when technical difficulties affect eligibility. You will not receive CPE credit if you did not meet the eligibility requirements listed above, even if technical issues contributed to ineligibility. If you encounter technical difficulties during a live webcast, please contact the production team through the webcast Q&A function for assistance.

Program materials will be available online through My Learning under Account Settings– cpe.nysscpa.org. If materials have been posted before you register, you will be alerted in your registration email and can access them immediately.
