Louise Santacruz is an Executive Director in KPMG’s Department of Professional Practice (DPP) where she focuses on ESG and International activities. As a member of both the ESG Reporting and the Compensation and Benefit teams, Louise leads Social and human capital reporting initiatives for the US and Latin American audit practices. She authors publications on these topics including the recent KPMG Handbook, Employee Benefits. Before joining DPP in 2008, Louise was a member of the New York audit practice where her clients included multinational media, telecommunications and consumer products reporting under US GAAP and IFRS accounting standards. She currently sits on the KPMG Network of Women New York leadership council, leads DPP’s Diversity, Equity and Inclusion committee and is the incoming DPP liaison to the New York Office Culture Committee. Ms. Santacruz earned her BS in French Literature from Georgetown University and her MBA in Accountancy from the Zicklin School of Business. She is a member of the AICPA and NYSSCPA and a licensed certified public accountant in New York. She joined KPMG in 2000.
