This presentation will discuss “Direct and Cross Examination of Business Appraisers and Forensic Accountants” – e.g., how an attorney goes about planning and conducting direct examination and cross examination, and accordingly, what an expert witness should expect - types of questions and answers on direct, types of questions and answers on cross, re-direct and re-cross, etc. The presentation will also discuss what helps an expert do well, what creates difficulties for an expert, and how to best deal with a difficult situation or difficult fact pattern.
