About the Tax Division Oversight Committee

The Tax Division Oversight Committee provides oversight and guidance to all the committees of the Tax Division.

To join one of our operational committees, which requires permission from NYCPA staff, please complete the application below to be considered. NOTE: You must be an active NYCPA member to complete the form.

What we do:

  • Assist committees of the tax division on direction and on meeting their needs
  • Help the committees of the tax division to increase participation and to satisfy their members’ needs
  • Provide direction to committees of the tax division involving tax issues and Society comments on those technical issues
  • Plan the Annual Tax Conference
  • Provide assistance to the Board of Directors and the Executive Community in the tax area as requested
  • Ensure that committees of the tax division stay on track and meet the goals set in their committee action plan, and provide guidance on their conferences
  • Act as final approval on all Society technical tax comments before sign-off by the Society president.
