Gina has over 15 years of extensive experience providing accounting and auditing services to public and non-public domestic and foreign entities primarily in the financial services industry. She has worked with clients addressing complex financial and reporting issues including mergers and acquisitions, financial instruments and credit losses, derivatives and hedge accounting. Gina has led projects at clients in the institutional and retail sector, securities trading, domestic and international banking engagements and broker-dealers. These projects included attestation engagements, internal audits, consulting projects including CECL implementation, group audits, asset quality reviews, conversion from IFRS/Irish GAAP to US GAAP, SEC registration and IPO, head office compliance reviews, collateral examinations, internal control and due diligence. Gina is also involved in Firm trainings and external presentations on FS related topics. Prior to joining Mazars, she worked at E&Y Philippines for five years. She was also the Chief Financial Officer of the China subsidiary of an international manufacturing and distribution firm based in Thailand. Gina graduated Magna Cum Laude with a B.S. degree in Accounting from the University of San Carlos, Cebu Philippines. She currently serves as the Chairman of the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants (NYSSCPA) Banking Committee.

Matthew Clohessy is a Senior Audit Manager, Senior Vice President with KeyBank’s Credit Risk Review Division. Matt has 15+ years of experience as an Internal Auditor with regional financial institutions, prior experience as a Systems Administrator and was an Adjunct Professor at Canisius College for several years. Matt specializes in overseeing cross-discipline reviews and has a wide range of experience, most recently focusing on evaluating internal controls over Allowance for Loan and Lease Losses (ALLL), commercial loan workout, counterparty credit risk management, credit risk governance, non-traditional credit risk management and payments risk management. Matt is vice-chairman of the New York State Society of CPA’s (NYSSCPA) Banking Committee, a member and former chairman NYSSCPA Technology Assurance Committee and member of the NYSSCPA Sustainability Accounting and Reporting Committee. Matt is also a board member on the Erie County Arts and Cultural Advisory Board (ECACB). Matt is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) and is RMA Credit Risk Certified (CRC). He graduated cum laude from Canisius College with dual Bachelor of Science degrees in Accounting and Accounting Information Systems and has a Master’s in Business Administration from Canisius College.
